The transition from high school to college requires a student to make a number of adjustments which are more easily accomplished with adequate preparation. Virtually everything a first-year student encounters in the first semester is new including having a new place to live, sharing space with a stranger who will hopefully become a friend, learning new schedules, finding where classes and other events are held, and finding someone to share lunch and dinner, just to name a few. The list is long and for a student with a learning disability or ADHD or for a student athlete, the list of necessary adjustments is even longer. Dr. Noles has experience working on and consulting with a number of colleges and universities (community colleges to top tier 4-year research universities) which helps him provide guidance and insight which can make this transition to college as smooth as possible.
