Steven W. Noles is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Sports Psychologist. He obtained his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology in 1983 after completing his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond.  

After 5 years as a US Navy staff psychologist working with the submarine and aviation communities, Dr. Noles established a private practice in the greater Richmond, Virginia area in 1988 which became at one time the largest non-physician run mental health practice in central Virginia. In addition to maintaining his now solo private practice, Dr. Noles serves as the Learning Disabilities Consultant at Hampden - Sydney College. He was also a member of the University of Richmond counseling center staff until his retirement in December 2023.

Dr. Noles has been married for more than 40 years, and has two adult children, two delightful daughters-in-law, and two wonderful grand-daughters.  Dr. Noles enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family, relaxing at Smith Mountain Lake, and serving as a volunteer at the National D-Day Memorial.
