Steven W. Noles is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Sports Psychologist. He obtained his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology in 1983 after completing his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond.
After 5 years as a US Navy staff psychologist working with the submarine and aviation communities, Dr. Noles established a private practice in Richmond, Virginia in 1988. In addition to maintaining an active private practice, Dr. Noles is a member of the University of Richmond counseling center staff and serves as the Learning Disabilities Consultant at Hampden - Sydney College.
Dr. Noles is a member of the National Association for Sports Psychologists, the Association for Applied Sports Psychology, the Association for Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), and the Association for Higher Education and Disability in Virginia.
Dr. Noles has been married for over 30 years, has two adult children, and two grandchildren. Dr. Noles enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing at Smith Mountain Lake, and serving as a volunteer at the National D-Day Memorial.
